Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
These terms and conditions outline the rules for using scanforleads.com and related lead-scanning services, in accordance with Polish law, and explain how we collect, use, and protect personal information under GDPR and Polish data protection regulations.

This information is provided in accordance with the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means.
2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing scanforleads.com, creating an account, signing in, or running scans, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These Terms govern your use of the ScanForLeads web application, including account access, credit-based scanning, storage of scan history and lead tables, exports, and any related support we provide.
3. Privacy policy and information collection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This section explains how personally identifiable information (PII) may be collected and used. PII is information that can identify, contact, or locate you.
What we may collect
- Email address used for sign-in and service communications
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and timestamps
- Scan parameters you submit (for example business type, city, neighborhoods, and selected website items)
- Outputs of scans (business names, URLs, contact fields, item scores, and similar lead data) stored in your account
- Cookies and similar technologies needed for sessions, security, and basic analytics
When we collect it
- When you request a login code or verify your email
- When you configure and run a scan
- When you use the site interface (including CSV export or deleting rows)
How we use it
- To operate authentication, credits, and scan processing
- To store your cumulative lead table and scan history associated with your account
- To respond to support requests and enforce these Terms
- To improve reliability, security, and product quality
Lead and third-party data
Scan results may include information about third-party businesses obtained from public or licensed sources used by the product. You are responsible for your own compliance when you contact or market to those businesses.

We use cookies and similar technologies where needed for account sessions, security, and understanding how the service is used.

You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the service (especially sign-in) may stop working correctly.
5. License to use the website
Unless otherwise stated, we and/or our licensors own intellectual property rights in the website and software. You may use the interface for your own internal business purposes subject to these Terms.
You must not republish, sell, rent, sublicense, scrape, or redistribute the service or its outputs in a way that competes with the service, bypasses access controls, or violates applicable law.
6. AI disclosure and transparency
ScanForLeads uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and related automation in parts of the scanning and analysis pipeline. AI outputs can be imperfect. You should verify important facts before relying on them in commercial decisions.
7. Service description
ScanForLeads helps users discover local businesses and evaluate websites against configurable website items, then presents results in a table with export options. Features, limits, and availability may change. We may suspend or discontinue parts of the service where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or operations.
8. User obligations
You agree to provide accurate information where requested, keep access to your account secure, use the service only in compliance with applicable laws (including marketing and privacy laws), and not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data.
9. Credits (balance), expiration, and non-cash nature
The service may operate on a credit model: credits are consumed when billable analyzed leads are delivered according to the rules shown in the product.
- Free beta credits: During the beta, we may grant free credits for testing. Free credits are promotional, may be limited, and do not create a payment obligation.
- No expiration: Purchased or granted credits remain on your account until they are used for eligible billable deliveries, unless we terminate the service or your account under these Terms, or a different written agreement explicitly states otherwise.
- No cash value, no redemption, no exchange for money: Credits are not money, not a stored-value instrument, and have no cash value. Credits are not redeemable for cash or cash equivalents, are not exchangeable for currency, bank transfer, cryptocurrency, gift cards, or any payment method, and are not transferable between users unless we explicitly allow it in writing.
- No payout on closure: If you stop using the service or we close your account for a permitted reason, unused credits are forfeited and are not paid out, except where mandatory consumer protection law requires a different outcome.
- Refunds: Unless required by law or expressly agreed in writing, fees paid for credits or subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Statutory rights for consumers may still apply.
10. Payments and taxes
At MVP launch the product may be offered as a free beta or manually approved early-access service. When paid purchases are enabled, prices, currency, VAT, and invoicing details will be shown at checkout or on an order page. You agree to pay fees according to the selected plan. If Stripe or another payment processor is used, their terms may also apply.
11. Right of withdrawal for consumers (Poland)
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days under Polish consumer law, subject to exceptions when digital content or services begin with your consent during the withdrawal period.

12. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with the service, email info@scanforleads.com with your name, contact details, and a clear description of the issue. We aim to respond within 14 days of receipt. Consumers may also use the EU ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
13. Data protection and security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and secure transport where applicable. We do not sell your personal data. We retain data as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it where appropriate.
14. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, data portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise GDPR/RODO rights, contact info@scanforleads.com. In case of a personal data breach, we will notify affected users and regulators where required.

16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the service, scan results, third-party outages, or AI inaccuracies.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. For business clients (B2B), disputes may be subject to the courts competent for TecAdRise's registered office in Wysoka, Poland, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Consumers may have additional protections and out-of-court dispute options.
